Heralded as a “brilliant” (AV Club) and “hilarious” (IndieWire) “love letter to the multicultural stew of Oakland” (Rolling Stone), “Blindspotting” flipped comedic storytelling on its head and is an electrifying genre-bending, medium-mixing comedy from co-creators Rafael Casal & Daveed Diggs. “Blindspotting,” which is Certified Fresh at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, centers on Ashley (Jasmine Cephas Jones), who is nipping at the heels of a middle-class life in Oakland until Miles (Casal), her partner and father of their son, is suddenly incarcerated, leaving her to navigate a chaotic and humorous existential crisis when she is forced to move in with Miles’ mother Rainey (Helen Hunt) and half-sister Trish (Jaylen Barron).
